Today’s picture was originally going to be something completely different…that is until I got THE news. I’m shocked…and stunned and really sad. This evening I found out that someone that I don’t speak to as often as I used to but that still held a very dear place in my heart passed away. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that I’m incredibly stressed, or the conversation I had with his brother or the fact that it’s been an emotional roller coaster kind of year…but the news actually had me bursting into tears.

He was only about half my size due to various illnesses and conditions…but he was dynamite and he had more attitude, personality, integrity and spunk than most full bodied people I know. Rest in peace sweet boy.
